Kristin, this is a nice article! It's good to hear what you think of Clovis... I am not from Clovis, I am an El Paso TX native and although it's a far cry from sunny beaches, I sure miss home!

Clovis has a unique atmosphere and it can get hard to appreciate that. Thanks for your input!

I love this article! As someone who calls Clovis home (my dad is retired USAF), you bring a unique perspective that I may have taken for granted. I was just thinking last night, as I saw about a dozen Florida license plates on my drive home, it's really great living in a military town, because they become this melting pot of people from different locations. I work with a woman who is originally from Michigan. Many of the friends I've met in the past 2-3 years have come from all different walks of life in different parts of the country or even the world. We should celebrate this diversity by getting to know each other more and appreciating peoples' stories of home, wherever it may be.

Thanks for sharing this with us, Kristin!

PS - One thing I love about Clovis is the short travel time to places like Amarillo, Albuquerque, Lubbock, or Ruidoso. Be sure to check out some of the great places in the area while you're here. There's a ton!
